Hick's Yew
Taxus x media ‘Hicksii’
This upright, evergreen Yew is excellent for shadier locations. It feathery needles have good winter color, and the shrub may develop red berries if it is female. It can be sheared and works well as an accent, specimen, or foundation planting. It does best in partial shade. It prefers moist soil but cannot tolerate wet soils. This shrub does not have any serious pest or disease problems.
