Growing to only 14 to 16 inches tall, this spreading perennial grows to around 30 to 36 inches wide. It is covered in lavender spikes in the spring and again in the summer if sheared. They will also attract pollinators. It has tidy greyish-green leaves that are aromatic if crushed.
This plant will grow in full sun to part shade and is tolerant of a wide variety of soils and some drought. This perennial works well as a groundcover, in front of borders and foundation plantings.
